There is much talk of analysis to ‘what if’ on all the media. History
books will document all the different scenarios of ‘what it’.
Is it looking for a point of blame or just curiosity?
We can’t foresee the future but we can make predictions.
History has photos and sound recordings and personal recollections of
times and events.
There will always be questions about the possibilities of changing space
and time.
Do we accept the decisions we have made through the years?
What if we had not dropped the atomic bomb? What if we had not gone into
Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq? What if banks weren’t too big to fail?
Should you have saved that car that is now an antique classic? Should
you have married you second wife? Should you have stayed or quit your job?
Should you have allowed a photo in that outfit?
Taking questionable calculations on decisions made by others without all
the information and emotional understanding is only a guess.
We will listen to what we want to hear that reinforces our bias as wisdom.
