Why can’t we say what we mean?

We start off fine but then all the words tumble into confusion and we must clarify….

I mean…why can’t we get all our thoughts together before we open our mouth spilling out incomprehensible verbiage difficult to listen to…

I mean…should we just keep our pie-hole closed until we assemble a coherent sentence, but…

I mean…we are in such a rush to join the conversation that we blabber nonsense trying to out-talk the others and then sounding foolish…

I mean…like quick text without a thought, we regurgitate phrases and mental emoji with waving hand gestures trying to capture a response…

I mean…if our words made a difference, people would listen.
