Charts and Graphs and Numbers. Oh my!

The season for the next election has begun and all the talking heads will be presenting numbers and figures of polls and study groups and predictions until the last vote is counted.
No matter what or whom you listen to, you can find numbers you like.
Scientist, accountants, statisticians, politicians, teachers, talking heads, etc. will find numbers to present their point-of-view.
As we all know numbers can be recalculated and manipulated. Charts and graphs can show positive or negative results of studies and polls.
The size of a test group can give distorted conclusions. The structure of questionnaires can bias the results.
Only advertising or public relations present numbers in a way to support their message.
Most of us won’t remember any of the numbers or graphs or chart but will vote from our gut.
That is 67% of the 38% who vote in 79% of the districts.
