It is one of the best marketing gimmicks ever. Other than “Biggie Size” for double the price and 1/3 more product or “Same Great Price” with a ½ size container, the idea of using more product because it is in the “How to use” instructions is pure genius.
If I recall, it went something like this: “Rinse hair, apply generous handfuls of shampoo, rub around until lather gets in your eyes, rinse hair and repeat.” What other product has the instructions to use twice as much as you need? If the second application makes your hair cleaner, imagine three or four times as much?
Suppose recipes were like this. Stir up a bunch of veggies, meat, fruit, and cook, eat, and then repeat? We wouldn’t have to biggie size. We would be biggie sized.
We all make mistakes. We learn from our mistakes. Mistakes can be small or life changing, but if we make the same mistakes over and over again?
Wake, ride, eat, sleep and repeat.
